【Itō Jakuchū】
(2 March 1716 – 27 October 1800) Japanese painter of the mid-Edo period when Japan had closed its doors to the outside world. Many of his paintings concern traditionally Japanese subjects, particularly chickens and other birds. Many of his otherwise traditional works display a great degree of experimentation with perspective, and with other very modern stylistic elements.

正徳6年2月8日（1716年3月1日） - 寛政12年9月10日（1800年10月27日））は、近世日本の画家の一人。江戸時代中期の京にて活躍した絵師。名は汝鈞（じょきん）、字は景和（けいわ）。初めは春教（しゅんきょう）と号したという記事があるが、その使用例は見出されていない。斗米庵（とべいあん）、米斗翁（べいとおう）、心遠館（しんえんかん）、錦街居士とも号す。写実と想像を巧みに融合させた「奇想の画家」として曾我蕭白、長沢芦雪と並び称せられる。
